You threw me for a moment with the title as I thought this looked like it could be Shenandoah. I do like the fall color and the clouds impart some wonderful drama and mood to the image. My only suggestion would be to clone out the lighter tree branch intruding on the left side about 3/4 of the way down. Very nicely done, Mike.

Michael,

Wonderful!  Those drifting, dappled clouds mixed with the rich, fall color really make the image.  The only suggestion I have would be to crop a slice off the bottom to eliminate a few distracting tree/bush tops; in addition to the errant tree branch Ed mentions.

Great mood and atmosphere here!  I like this a LOT!

Wow, that's one load of atmosphere you captured! Absolutely love it! I think a crop from the bottom would make this even better, like Lon said.

Michael,
This is fantastic. Great atmosphere and beautiful tonalities - a nice departure from the typical in-your-face super saturated fall colors. Agree with Lon on cropping a small slice off the bottom

Love the colors and fog lifting in the upper part of the image. I agree with suggestions to either darken the lighter trees/bushes along the bottom or just crop them out. Simple and very effective.

This is really nie, Michael. The color and the soft mood work very well here. My only suggestion would be to clone out those small bits of foliage along the bottom edge. The clouds really add a fine touch.

Well done!

Really well crafted image! Those clouds really helped this image for sure.

Nice colors and atmosphere here. If you crop the bottom a bit this will be even better.

The real attraction in this image is the distant foliage peaking in and out of the mist. The clear foliage should play a subordinate role to this subject. Instead it is given the same amount of space. I would crop a great deal of the bottom leaving a much smaller row of sharp foliage from left frame to right frame. That would result in a panorama. If not satisfactory I would do further side cropping to get the format that you like. Those are my thoughts.

SO Dreamy!  Awesome!  I might be tempted to make it more minimalistic but cutting a little bit (maybe 1/5th) of the bottom off.  Or burning down the distracting elements there (the yellows and some of the trunks).
