# 720 Frozen Edge

Very minimalist. There are some nice elements here that add to the image: the layering of snow and ice, a good S curve and what looks like several old stumps and a (rock?).

I like this, Reno!  A clean and simple composition with a strong graphical impact.  A little less contrast might preserve more of the snow texture but it might also lessen the graphical element.

This is a fine graphic look at this lake edge, Reno.  The snowy bottom and top with the swoosh of icy water between and the 3 bits peeking from the snow up top are nicely dramatic.  I like this very much as presented, but also think that showing a bit more snow at the bottom would add some balance (if you've got it).  Yes, Jim's use of elegant fits nicely.

Such a cool abstract! Weird in a really good way I think. The high key processing of the snow makes that there is very little detail in it, which makes those three rocks stand out even more. The s-curve in the foreground is the icing on the cake.

This is a nice abstract and I really like the S curve.  This would probably look nice as a black & white image as well.
