The Chase
by Jerry Marella
I'll stick with dog pics because they're fun to photograph and fun to look at. My youngest son and his wife rescued these two 10 and 7 years ago. Lily, the Puggle is now 10 and Mia, the Boxer Shepherd mix is now 7. Lily is getting to the age where she really doesn't want to chase much any longer. Mia stilll torments her until she gives in and goes after her. This is the start of about 10 min of running at each other and then changing places and running the other way. I'll post a few more where Lily is seen better, but I thought the look on Mia's face after she finally got Lily to chase her is pure joy. She's usually a serious looking dog, but she still can get a puppy smile when she's running free.
C&C are appreciated

5 commentsthe setup in a snowy landscape is very nice and as you say the face of Mia really shows fun altough one has to look to the large version to see that. I am curious to see more especially because I would like to see more from Lily.
Technically the image is very good, good sharpness and good detail in the snow.
It would be great if you could post also the technical information, just to be able to judge the picture better, altough in this case there is nothing which would require that information.
I like this image--it shows dogs having unrestrained fun. I like how you also captured the snow that was tossed up from the action of busy dog feet.
Feel free to post all the dog shots you want - love to see 'em!
I fully agree that the look on Mia's face is GREAT...she looks so happy!
Thanks for sharing this...looking forward to seeing more.
Cheers...
