Good day y'all,

My fiancee and I woke up early to make an hour drive up to Grand View point in the Tetons, and it was  a foggy drive. We could not see more than five feet in front of us, and we both were hoping the Elk would steer clear of the road. We saw lots of them on the side, but I think they were laughing at us for driving in such thick fog, lol. We arrived at our destination, and it was such a beautiful morning to be alive.

Thanks for the comedic relief win regard to fiancee, lol. enlightened

Thank you for any thoughts y'all may have on this image

Great clouds!!! What a killer mood with them, too. A grand morning indeed!

Great catch of Moran and the Grand!  The old saying about great photography is f16 and being there, at least the last part is true. Persistance counts!

Lovely - I particularly like the etail on the trees poking out of the fog, great contrast with the red peaks poking out of the top!

I forgot - I assume you mean "Fiancee" not "Finance"? sad

Haha, a financee, is that like a fiancee who finances you? Anyway, very sweet image, and I actually see a pano crop as well in this one, since the bottom half would be a nice pano in my world. Great capture, this is the kind of morning display we would like to see every morning.

Ryan,

There is so much to enjoy about this image.  The last light on the peaks, the colorful sky, layers of clouds and then the fog in the valley.

Just a thought, but considering the long, triangular shapes and layers of fog, I could see cropping the top some just to emphasize even more that length.  But of course, this works well as is.

Great image and reward for being brave to drive in to no mans land. If the car was near this shooting location I would have been tempted to climb on top of it , just to get a little more of those beautiful peaks.
