Another image from last month above the Arctic Circle on Andoya Island in Norway. I always like seeing that hard edge half way up a mountainside to delineate the autumn/winter boundary.

Lovely, Dave, and it certainly conveys the transition of the seasons.

A beautiful transitional scene Dave. The more I see of the Lofotens, the more difficult it becomes to decide where to go next...
This has a very calming balance of different topography.

Nicely seen Dave and a nice balance of different land from foregroud up to the mountains. A nice representation of the seasonal change displayed here and the beautiful clouds finish the scene.

Dave, another fine mix of yellows in the grasses and trees against snowy mountains. The river does a good job of connecting the foreground to the mountain in the background. The sky adds some fine extra interest.

Love the warmth of the FG grasses and trees, balanced with the cold iciness of the mountain peaks in the BG. It's a well balanced image and the clouds add a nice finish.
