Canon 5D Mk2, EOS 24-105 at 24mm, 4 horizontal images panorama vertically.  Polarizer.  Sierras are definitely different from my PNW home.

That's a fine old pine. I like the different perspective which lends height to the tree. I am not usually a fan of sunstarts, but it works here. I think B&W was nice choice.

Very unique perspective.  Love how the clouds frame the tree.  Compoistionally and in terms of lighting, you've taken this to a whole new level of landscape photography, IMO.  This is different, but in a very nice way!

Well thought out perspective and very well executed. The BW has a nice tone to it and nice contrast. You get a nice sunburst with that lens....

The detail and dynamic range are handled really well.  Nice take on this tree and the surrounding elements work very well it.

I really like the abstractness of this in B+W. All of the elements fit together so well with the perfect little sunstar acting as the anchor that the trees point to. Inspiring work, Daniel, and a unique image.

Really nice flow to this image, Daniel.  Very dramatic and the clouds work very nicely to center the eye on the little sunstar.  I think you did quite well out of your comfort zone.  Love this B/W, very well done.

Really nice, love the suburst. I wonder whether the sky could be brightened a bit to make the tree stand out more.
