Excellent detail and great DOF, Jim. In the large image the glare on the compound eye has begun to posterize. A little blurring around the edges should take care of it. Really minor, this is an exceptional image!devil

Beautiful DF image, Jim. Love the grass seedheads and the harmonious brown and golden colors. Puts this in the upper echelon of DF images IMO.  devil

Jim, Very nice color palette and perch. The grass seed heads give sense of movement/wind. There are some dots at the top of the background. That is my only minor nit. Another fine dragonfly image! devil

Jim, I've had a male Widow hanging around for three weeks.  It's a df first for my pond and it's quite shy...won't let me get close enough to get a shot like this with my 180...  This is an excellent look at this one, with terrific details in the body (as shown best in the larger version), wing centers, and the grass heads set against a fine background.
