Spring starts early in our garden but everything is prologue awaiting the arrival of the day lilies. We've had a mild wet Spring so we have a bumper crop of many varieties of lilies. This is one of my favorites taken after a quick shower a couple days ago. All comments welcome.>=))>

4 commentsThe detail is perfect and I also like the fade to white effect. Yellow is such a happy color and the rain drops add extra interest.
I love your choice of focal plane and dof for this one, Bill. Lovely colors as well, and the water drops topit off very nicely.
I really like how the "reverse vignetting" (whether natural or added in post processing, it works either way for me!) draws attention to the images's focus.
A lovely look at this lily's innards, Bill. The details in the stamen and pistil are great and the surrounding colors are warm and wonderful. You've comp. does a fine job of emphasizing the swoop of the stamen and pistil. The water drops are icing on the cake.
