These Ipheion flowers scattered around a tree trunk seemed a bit like a flock of birds taking flight - I've separated the one flower whilst trying to keep a sense of a flurry of activity in the gentle breeze.

This is excellent Ian. Great job separating the one bloom from the rest. I have tried to get some shots of these this year, and was not very successful. Very nice work!

The main flower is lovely! I like how the OOF flowers surround the main flower. Very nice, Ian.
Beautiful, Ian. I like this one even better than the previous image. Superb dof management.
Ian - Another lovely take on these pretty flowers. Wonderful focus for the main flower and a natural looking blur for the surrounding ones.
Ian,
I like the delicate colors and OOF flowers in the BG. The subject is placed in a pretty good spot in the frame

Ian: I knew this was yours as soon as it opened. Marvelous isolation of the main subject. Really good POF/DOF decision.

Couldn't ask for better, Ian, Well done!
