An Evening with Deva

Deva, as a 3 year old, on Thompson Pass in the late evening light.  These mountain hikes were the highlights of her life.  She was perfectly at home there and never wanted to leave.

Great light on Deva, Gary, and (of course, it seems cool) a wonderful mountain setting.  I like the overall scene balance, with the emphasis on her, but showing off a setting begging to be explored.

A beautiful dog, Gary - which I assume from your tone is no longer with you? If that is the case, I can understand the sadness. I have pictures of one of my rescue cats who was especially close to me and who died young almost six years ago, and I am to this day not able to look at those pictures. Yours is a beautiful picture and a wonderful tribute to a cherished friend !!!
