Reina was dashing back and forth through the swampy grass and having a blast. I was up on a hill watching her and could tell that she wasn't aware of an open pond that I knew was quite deep. She was headed right for it and not paying attentions so I was ready for her when she got her surprise

5 commentsThe splash is great, Gary, and the warm grasses blend well with your dog's color. Even if the pond was a surprise, it doesn't look like she is paying the least attention to the water.
I like the attitude.
Great frame, Gary! Love the action and frozen water droplets thanks to the 1/2000sec shutter speed, but it's the lighting and tones that really take this up to another level (or rather the combination of the action and tones probably). I really like Reina's upward posture and high head as well...gives a sense of anticipation and coming drama.
Another beauty!
Hi Gary
You caught Reina perfectly splashing in the pond. a very fine action shot.
with the water drops adding to the action..... the colors of the grass and the dog , are in beautiful harmony.
