Hi Betty-Lou.  Welcome to NPN and the Weekly Challenge gallery.  This is a good, up close look at your rabbit.  The larger version shows excellent details in Pienje's fur and especially the eye.  You've done a fine job, getting good detail in the blacks with bright sunshine behind, like you have here.  Your composition looks good, but would be improved subtly if you had gotten the tip of the ear in the frame.  Looking forward to more posts and comments from you.

Now that you've responded, I looked at your join date.  Yes, indeed, you have been a member for a while.  It great to see you posting.

Thank you Mark, I have been a member of NPN for a while but haven't been active. That is about to change. Lots more from me to come an I am getting involved in the discussions and comments. Since I took this image my photography skills have much improved, but I did like this one myself because of her gorgeous face.

What a pretty little lop, Betty-Lou! She does indeed have a fine, graceful face and wonderful eyes, and WOW what a great environment to put her in! As others have suggested, just a shade less room on top and more under the ear would have made this even stronger.

Nice to have you posting in the community here now! Welcome! cool

The closeness and those big eyes make this a very intimate portrait, Betty-Lou!  The flowers and warm back lighting are icing on the cake. A nice little rabbit and a very nice shot! devil
