Here's another river shots from last October that I never posted. This is the East Branch of the Ausable River in the Adirondack Forest Preserve.

Canon 5D Mark III; 24-105 mm.; circ. pol.

Nice one Wayne! A very pleasant image IMHO. I think the yellow trees add to the photo, give it a boost. Thanks for sharing.

Very well composed with the foreground, middle, and background all working to create a pleasant fall scene. :toast:

Wonderful clor and a beautiful stream that should fit perfectly in your portfolio, Wayne. I never tire of your Adirondack work. Very nice.

Looks like a creek where you can spent some nice quality time with your camera, especially during autumn season. Nice colors!

I love how the perspective draws you in towards the fall foliage - nicely done!

The rocks and the river draw the eye into the image and the color adds to the image.

This is not the Ausable that I remember! Been years and I'm sure at a completely different section of the river. Nice shot with a great touch of color.

Very nice balance of light here. Lots to see, but still quite restful for the eyes.

I like this the most of your recent Ausable images. The composition is stronger and the sky has been well incorporated into the composition. The presence of those clouds mixed in with the blue helped a great deal. The lighting in the shadow areas is not dark nor harsh. My guess is that you waited for one of those clouds to move over and provide that nice diffused light.

Another of your trademark Adirondack scenes Wayne and I really like the foreground in this. Colors and composition are beautifully done as is your processing. Great job. :toast:

Wayne, this is a gem! The depth is great alone with the content. Winner!
