The Clown
by Jim Zablotny
Havoc likes to clown around especially when the camera is out. This image was taken with a Takumar 55mm f1.8 manual lens. The lens is tack sharp, has wonderful glass, and was only 38 bucks on E-bay. I did some luminosity masking to bring up the midtones, lighten the dark shadows, and take a little brightness from the snow. I reduced the blue in the snow, but like the blue in the shadows.....................Jim

btw: dogs can be a kick in the butt as you well know. This morning I was walking our dog we rescued from a family member who fell ill a year ago and found out something new. As we walked past the streets lined with the weekly rubbish cans in front of the homes there was one with an old wheel-barrel propped up against one of the cans. Our dog went nuts with growls and barks, apparently he does not like wheel-barrels...news to me....too funny.
The wheel-barrel must have been a worthy adversary! (LOL) Havoc goes nuts over the snow shovel. He growls and barks, then jumps on the shovel blade and removes the snow with his feet. I'm tempted to mount the Go Pro on the handle to capture the silliness.
LOL......I almost pulled out my iPhone and took a video to at least show family our encounter today with the scary wheel-barrel.......Our dog even looks a bit like Havoc......ours is an Australian Shepperd so different colors for sure....
