Hi John,

I like the pose with the cranes eye staring at you and reflection. I would try to reduce the impact of the vertical light patch above and to the right of the crane..............................Jim

John:
I like the pose of the crane. A very intimate view of the sleeping pose, but with the eye open keeping a careful watch on what is happening. I think the color balance is off a bit. It has a blue colder cast that I'm used to seeing. I did a few quick adjustments to work on the color balance a bit, a mid tones contrast and removed the brighter reflection above the crane. See what you think.

Love the pose of a watchful nap. I agree about the light patch and of course Mr. Keith's magic improvements help. Nice with the subtle reflection in the short reeds which does not take away from the birds image. Good job.

A very nice shot of a classic pose. Keith's work is an improvement, but it you're going to remove stuff you should probably remove the two white and one bloack dots past the tail.
