While at the Bosque earlier this month, I spent a bit of time trying to capture images of this Say's Phoebe coming in for a landing on a perch.

Pretty happy with this result.

Lovely shot Kieth. A good example of where the perch (in my opinion) is essential to give that sense of "going somewhere"
Good stuff.
Have a good one. John

I wouldn't be very happy with this Keith....I would be thrilled.
I was wondering when I was going to see an image from this sequence from you. Love the wing position, deatail, BG, etc. no nits from me. Nice work.

You should be happy with this. Very nice indeed. Great background. The perch anchors the shot nicely.

Simply awesome Keith and Merry Christmas!

I arrived at Bosque last Sunday afternoon and had absolutely beautiful weather through Monday, sunny calm and warm. Monday hit 72. Tuesday morning at the crane pools was overcast and sleeting but sure can't complain. Lot's of raptors active. I'll have lot's of PP work when I get back home.

I like the slightly angled pose here. It gives a hint at forward motion, rather than the usual spread shot that just looks like the bird is hitting the brakes. Nice one, Keith.
