A female Leopard posing beautifully on a termite mound in the Mara North Conservancy in Kenya. She was accompanied by her mating couple who did not cooperate at all and kept hiding away from the cameras. This image was shot in low light condition

Beautiful shot of this leopard. I really like the mound it's laying on. Great pose, light, and background.

Hi Mario!
Great setting n beautiful pose! But I find greens saturated and seeing magenta too.

Mario,
I know I am not the right person to be commenting on "rich green", but this does look slightly saturated, the image itself is beautiful. :toast: :toast:

Spectacular capture here Mario. I adjustdedthe white balance and toned down the greens a bit. It looks marvelous.

The greens do look a bit strong, but even toned down slightly they still provide a wonderful contrast for the leopard's golden fur. This is quite nice, Mario.

Hi Mario,

Well - definitely a classic pose. DoF works great for me - love that the whole "closer" portion of the image (leopard and mound it's on) is in focus and background pleasingly thrown out of focus. My instant reaction when I first looked at the image (before reading any comments) was this: If it were mine I'd globally desaturate the magentas, and pull back the saturation of all colours in the background (by 10 or 15 "units" in Photoshop).

But a really solid shot - well done!

Cheers...

Brad
