Shot from my island campsite on Blue Mountain Lake in the Adirondack Forest Preserve. The clouds were moving fast as the Sun rose, and this was the only glimpse of the summit of Blue Mountain for the next several hours.

Canon 5D Mark III; Canon 24-105mm.
1/15 sec. @ f/16; ISO 320

I'm with Eva, Wayne, the reflections off the water are my favorite part of this fine long, moody view.

Nice set of elements in this Wayne. The contrasts between the woods, water, clouds and mountain catch my attention and hold it. The mood also has a lot of appeal to me. Beautiful image. No suggestions.

Ditto the above comments and I also like the texture of the water.

The water and the clouds are doing it for me, too. I would like to see more of that.

The water and the clouds really make this one work, Wayne. The light is quite nice.

I like what you are trying to achieve with this composition. I'd suggest going with even more of a pano format, cropping the top to just above the farthest reaching branch of the tree and cropping the bottom to maybe just above your signature.

Those clouds up top, the interplay of water and light, and the perspective you have chosen make for beautiful photography Wayne.

Very nicely done
