Flamingo

Went to the Albuquerque Zoo this AM to shoot a bit more with the 7D Mark II.

Well, I screwed that up...... I posted this in the Avian gallery. Completely forgot that Zoo animals are not permitted there, so I'm moving it over to POP Photos.......

Here's a frame I liked.

This is full frame with nothing done, not even sharpening. Just converted the RAW to jpegs for the posting sizes.

Canon 7D Mark II
500mm f/4 L IS
1/5000
f/4
ISO 400
EV -2

Larger Version included.

Absolutely LOVE this one Keith! I am a huge fan of dramatic lighting like this and the red with black BG really makes this one special.

This looks good to me Keith. Small nit—I wish I could see just a bit more of the eye. I've heard a lot on the new 7D, all good thus far.

Very nice Keith. The colors are very rich and the directional lighting worked great.

Light, subject and composition; all the elements of a very good photo. Without the eye it would be a good photo. With the eye, it's a very good photo. Richard

I went back to find and look at this one again and couldn't locate it in the Avian gallery. Now I see it got moved to the POP gallery and have to say I am really happy this was chosen for WP Keith. Well deserved on a terrific image.
