Babe in the Woods

I saw this calf and her mom on three separate occasions in three different spots on the same day. Each time it was a few miles apart. They really moved around in a day. This image is from the first occasion. She really was quite timid compared to her mom and usually hung back near the trees until mom gave the A ok. Thanks for looking, comments appreciated.

Carey,
The most obvious thing to say is pity about the foreground tree. Do you have good enough IQ to crop in to just the head to eliminate most of the tree?

Good detail on the little one make this pleasing. I am in full agreement that the small spruce tree is unfortunate. Ken has a good idea about trying for a portrait crop.

What a cute little one with a great expression. Your focus on the calf is really nice. Enough said on other issue.
