Glowing Curves

This is a mirrored image of a water lily posted in Flora, that was transformed using the rectangular to polar filter in photoshop. I'm not happy with the title and I could also see the value in adding in one or more human figures, but I don't have many of those in my files, which is an indirect way to say that I'd be happy to collaborate with someone on further enhancements of this image. Best seen large.

Hey Mark,
This is magical and really draws you in, the lines and colors are all suited to each other very well and you have created a great sense of depth.
Well done . . . :toast:

Nicely done Mark! Before reading your text, I tried guessing the origin of this - and figured floral. The vibrancy and sharp edges of the petals, even though they are distorted/transformed, makes this for me :toast:

Really grabs ya Mark, great impact and application of the polar filter..
I could see going further by adding a human figure too.
It might even compliment the evil looking alien I see at center now..
You could call it "When Worlds Collide", call me strange
Well one! :toast:

Lovely as is, Mark. Has a spiritual motif to me, which takes the image to an infinite depth. Adding a human form might be somewhat superfluous in the context in which I am seeing this… An uplifting creation.

This is mesmerizing. I've come back here a few times to look at this for a bit and see new things each time. I see dragons, a bird, a road leading to a house and more. It feels like a glass bauble that I could just reach into the screen and pick up.

really like this mark. Mirror images can seem a little passe' but his one has a unique and original quality. OK that sentence was maybe a little redundant but I'm leaving it in
