Well, Happy Birthday Joe! Those beams are very impressive. The sun's reflection is great as well. I don't know if it's the trees messing with my perception but is the sun very slightly left of center? I also wonder how this might work as a vertical crop. Nice work!

Hey Joe, Happy Birthday! That is quite a wonderful view and I really like the light beams in this one. I prefer the full comp over the vert crop.

First off, happy birthday Joe. I think this is my favorite of the three. The rays are flat out awesome and I do not think you can go wrong with either the horizontal or vertical version.

Beautiful beams and light. Both compositions are nice, but I personally think the vertical has more power to it.

Happy Birthday, Joe. I would take either comp. I think sun rays are my favorite thing to photograph and you were sure given a tremendous gift and took very good advantage of it. Nice series.

Wonderful rays and color! I too prefer the horizontal for the amount of rays it shows (but prefer the foreground balance in the vertical).

Happy belated b'day Joe! Lovely. I prefer the original by a wide margin. I might consider a slight contrast boost though.
