The first rays of the sunrise fired the beautiful back lit rose in my neighbor's garden. The night still stagnated in the shades.

D800E, Nikkor 200mm macro - f/20 and ISO 200

Always very glad for your thoughts and advices.

Gigi - Excellent Light that we always expect you to play with in most of your photos. The photo sure mimics Fire and Flames with the red outline to the petals adding more interest.

I would have loved to see another photo with slightly smaller magnification and a bit more of the stem showing --> not sure it would have made a better photo but would have given a comparison.

Great variance in the color Gigi, and a very nice use of the folds and layers of petals. Great light too.

Gigi

This is gorgeous. :toast:

Like Ram, I am also curious to see how this would look with a little more space at the bottom.

You and I are curiuos to see this photo in a bit larger composition and here we are. I'll be very glad to read some opinions about. I don't tell you my preference for not influencing you.
Thanks.

Glorious light and colour, Gigi ! The caption says it all. Personally I prefer your original version with the lower petals fading into the dark.

The adjective gorgeous suits this to a tee, very nice Giuseppe!
Like crackling flames, this one's on fire man! :jump:
I like it as posted, I don't know that the added space bottom matters much here..

My, My, this is just wonderful Gigi. My vote goes for the original, but both are worth framing large.

Spectacular Gigi! Beautiful flower with very nice colors and you have captured it extremely well. Wonderful image! Well done!

Sanjay
P.S: I like the original. I think the green distracts.
