Tree-Scape in B&W

Shot a couple years back but got to process now  . The tree in the front just beginning to blossom is a Cherry Blossom like flower bearing tree. This photo was made early in the morning on a very foggy day.

Kindly see the Large Version linked in the text body here.

Ram:

The B&W really helps to create the mood in this image. Like the echoing of the trees in the bg. The smaller version looks a little oversharpened but the larger one is just fine.

Wonderful mood and tonality, Ram, and a lovely rhythm to the tree forms ! Not clear about the sharpening on the small version - it does look harsh on my monitor, but the large version is great.

Gary & Ian --> No time to process photos of two different sizes. The small photo is a compressed version of the large one to meet NPN Requirements. Sharpening has been correctly applied to the Large Version which is why it looks good.

Ram, the larger version is beautiful. I love the grotesque design of the front tree and the ghosts behind. I like even most the echo created by the tree on the right that try to copy form and direction of the main subject. For this reason, what do you think about making even more foggy and blurred the tree on the left for giving more evidence to the right? Just for experimenting, Ram.
Take care.

Wonderful B&W with the fog adding a surreal type atmosphere. I like how the main tree stands out more and really draws you into the image, excellent shot.
