An Ipheion or Spring starflower isolated among a lovely cluster of them growing under a tree.

Nicely composed. Good background and handling of the colors. My eye tends to be drawn to what looks like a large water drop.

Nicely isolated, Ian, with sharpness where it's needed most and the fine addition of that drop of water. The gentleness of the background works well.

I like the overall composition and seeing the slight splash of yellow with the stamens. A small/minor distraction for me is the OOF blade of grass just under the flower but the rest of the soft background really adds to the image, well done.

I love the color and delicate feel to the bloom Ian. I always have a hard time with these flowers and getting the BG just as I want them. I feel that this is close, but I wish the diagonal streaks in the BG were a bit less prevalent - but they are not a shot killer for me.
