Trout Lilies
by Carolyn Derstine
These early spring wildflowers are popping up all over in our shaded lawn and flower beds right now. I isolated this clump with black velvet as the evening sun was hitting some of the leaves and flowers.
Canon 60D. 180mm macro lens. F/18 for 1/10 sec. ISO 160. In-camera flash fired. Tripod mounted, ground level shot.

And as it should be
Dramatic look with the spot lighting and black BG too.
The leaves exiting the frame don't bother me, like how you've managed them using the dark vignette.
Well done Carolyn!
