This is a very effective composition. I like how the vertical emphasis of the cacti is mirrored by the cliffs in the background. You handled the extreme contrast of this scene very well, though it does look like the sunlit regions in the background are a bit hot.

Bob, What a wonderful scene this is! Great comp with lots of interest and the colors are beautiful. It does make one wish they were there. :smile:

A great image overall. I'm a bit unsure about the choice to clip the base of the frontmost cactus, though.
