He's My Brother II

Another shot of the two Ibex I encountered in Israel. In this shot, big guy looks like he's going to pound little guy. As I said earlier, big guy pulled back at the last moment and just gave a gentle tap.

As you can tell by the image, I was not ready for this shot. Big guy reared up suddenly and I had only a fraction of a second to capture the shot. The image was underexposed due to the pronounced light sky. I also lost most of little guy trying to track big guy. I had to do some work in Photoshop and LightZone to get it as shown. I also added a bit of canvass on the top. As a result, this is not a great image, technically. However, I think it shows some interesting interaction.

Comments and critiques welcome.

Jerry,
This is the sort of shot that I get all to often (very annoying)
If you had got all off the legs it would have been stunning, I think it could do with a little more contrast to make it pop more. :toast:

Great action and awesome pose and shooting angle Jerry! What a pity about the clipped legs, that sort of spoils it. The focus also seems a bit off (not on the head.)

A nice follow up image to the previous story. When you said mock head butt I was not thinking leaping approach like this shows.

The interaction is special. Wouldn't it have been nice to have some warning and get this pose with the back feet included?! I think you did a good job salvaging exposure and the only big wish would be for different framing and perhaps move the youngster!

Nice capture of the action. Also regret you did not have more time to prepare for the shot. Good series.
