I liked the side view of this mature bald eagle. I thought it was a unique perspective. Taken along the Mississippi River in Wisconsin.

Comments and Critiques welcome.

Awesome to get this bird soaring and being able to see the wingtips. Your techs look really good too - I would adjust the white balance a bit as the blue looks unnatural in the sky

Wonderful flight pose with good detail. I might experiment with a pano crop to eliminate some branches but nice job in getting this shot.

Always nice to have a bald eagle in the viewfinder. I agree with Luke on the blues. I'm not a big fan a flat wing pose on most birds.

Thanks for all the comments. I re-posted and toned downed the blue sky and re-cropped.

Nice flight pose Jerry, good detail and I like the tips up pose It's unfortunate that the BG branches intersect the beak, if it were mine, I would lose the group touching and just in front of the head. Other than that, very nice. I like the pano crop in the re-post.

I'm with Randy...the branches in front of the head are unfortunate, but otherwise I like the perspective they show. Sharon
