Kitty Kat

Place: Matawan, NJ
Date: unknown, probably early to mid 1970’s
Equipment: manual focus Nikon or Nikkormat of the day, 55 or 105 Nikkor lens, manual flash
Film: probably Kodachrome 64 or Agfa CT18
Scan: Minolta Dimage, 100% of frame

Tonight’s post is an oldie – our first cat (an adopted stray coaxed into our lives). It was a rainy day and the cat was resting on the window seal of our apartment bedroom. No, I can’t explain why we had orange drapes, except that they matched our bedspread.

As always: honest critiques requested; all comments appreciated. Larger version provided.

I like that paw that seems to pushing the drape open..
The cat's getting ready to make a grand entrance, no 'coaxing' required
Great oldie, thanx for sharing this one Rich :toast:

Looks like a Johnny Carson entrance--"And here's. . .Kitty!" This would be a great photo for a caption contest. The orange curtains work well with the dark cat. Very cute shot, Richard. And nothing wrong with orange curtains. . .different styles for different times.
