REPOST Yellow And Green Delight

Took this shot of a sunflower that caught my attention in my backyard in Virginia. Just a random shot since I had a clean background to isolate the plant.
Canon 7D, 100-400L @ 375mm, 1/400sec, f/5.6, iso1250, handheld and cropped for composition.
Forgot I had such a high iso, I was chasing birds earlier...
C&C welcome

David - Great details and a nice angled entry for the sunflower !. Love those tiny fine hairs on the stem as well. Yellows seem a bit over exposed but works well for sunflowers.

Beautiful detail and bright sunny colors. Tone down the hot spots and this will be a winner

David: Solid comp and capture. I agree with Ram about the yellow being a little hot but I do like the impact it has against the BG. Very nicely done.>=))>

Very nice job on the repost, David - the yellows definitely better. I also quite like the square crop ( though maybe slightly prefer it framed as was originally ) Altogether a very fine image !!
