Another dahlia from this fall, this one orange, and taken as a semi abstract. Does this work? Fellows Riverside Gardens, D600, 150 macro, f6.3, 1/160, iso 500. Comments, questions, and suggestions welcome and appreciated. :wavey:

Scott - Works for me. Love the off center pivot from where all the "lines" radiate out. Very punchy colors to go along !!

Beautiful color and lines. I always enjoy a nice abstract and this is certainly one of them. Lovely image.

Not quite so sure about this one, Scott, especially as compared to the previous dahlia - I have a sense of its needing something a bit stronger in form to anchor the composition bottom R. But very lovely light and colour and nice radiating petals.
