Slippery Slope

Shot on a rather precarious spot in the Scottish Highlands under conditions not too many non-photographers would consider ideal for landscape photography.
The soft light allowed the beautiful colours to appear with neutrality while low lying cloud was perfectly positioned to add a brooding mood but not obscure the peaks of the Three Sisters.
Shooting this stream over moss covered ledges was a slippery task indeed!

Kah Kit, it seems almost unique how you chose a vantage point above and upstream from the cascade, when falls pictures are normally captured from downstream. It's a beautiful setting, and I can't imagine any improvements.

Kah Kit, I like what you did here very much. I think it is interesting that with your long exposure the foreground with moving water and the background mountains and low clouds have balanced out with a very cool effect. The mid-ground is sharp while the softness blends in from the top and bottom. Very nice work on this! :toast:

Love the perspective here, can't think of anything I'd change. Fine work as usual.

This is cool! Love the perspective and atmosphere. Highlights seem a tiny bit bright...or not  Anyhow--two thumbs up!

Great POV and composition Kah Kit. Beautiful colors in this especially the fore ground. I like how the softness in the fore and back pull me into the middle of the scene. Really well done. :toast:

wonderful mood here, Kah Kit. I like the water movement as it takes me into the scene all topped off with that low lying cloud cover over the mountains. Beautiful work!
