Brotherly Love WC 609

Two affectionate whitetails at sun-up. The sun was above & behind, shining through the oaks. It produced some subtle rim-lighting that I found attractive..

Great catch on the interaction, Howard. The background has some nice colors but a good amount of softness and the hint of rim light is a fine addition.

I like this capture of the gentle interaction of the deer. Guess they are helping each other get going in the morning.

Very nice lighting and great DOF choice. I like the hint of rim lighting and especially the spotlit whiskers on the chin of the deer on the left. That background is just lovely and, together with the soothing foreground grass, makes a great setting for these two deer.

Nice one, Howard. Great lighting. The FG grasses make a nice frame of sorts. That big tree trunk and foliage in the back make a very nice backdrop for the deer.

Howard this is a very dynamic image you captured. The interaction between the two subjects is special indeed but, the lighting and the detail is superb. The contrast between the foreground grass and the background fall foliage really adds so much interest and the crop you selected is perfect.
Ideal post for this WC, well done . . .
