An image from my trip to the Northern Limestone Alps two weeks ago. I enjoyed the subdued autumn colors and the subtlety of all these elememts.

Hi Peter, One really needs to look at your larger version here!! I like this a lot and appreciate the wonderful and natural look you captured. This scene is very inviting for me. Nice work!

The bowed tree is a nice easy break in the vertical lines. A naturally beautiful scene.

Peter, the colors here are subtle but there's lots of really fine details both in the trees on the mountainside behind and in the foreground shrubs and grasses. I especially like that arching tree and how it breaks up all of the verticals.

I too like the gracefully curving tree. The scene looks very natural, and the large version is especially nice!

I love the palette of textures, especially in the larger version. I think I'd like it better without the bowed tree, but sounds like I'm out voted on that one.

Peter, this has a subtle realism that I really enjoy about your photography,in other words if I'm standing in your spot, this is exactly what i would see. Presented beautifully.

Very nice details and tones in the large version Peter. Very natural feel to this and makes me feel I'm there. Well done.

A very subtle scene with the beginings of autumn color that must be viewed large to be appreciated. I like what you have done here, Peter.
