Nice drama created by the ominous sky and low clouds Larry. BTW - The more you comment on others work, the more comments you'll will receive on yours.

A lovely alpine scene Larry, like the flower meadow in front and the traces of snow on the dark and forbidding peaks. I might desaturate the indigo blue of the mountains a little they look too strongly coloured for the rest of the scene which looks to me to be spot on.

Oh, this makes me want to be there! I don't see any tech info on the exposure, but it appears that this is not a wide-angle shot. Whatever focal length you used, it worked perfectly to illustrate the immensity of the mountains. The slope of the colorful flowers, and grassy hill falling away to reveal the gaping space of the valley makes a wonderful composition. Very effective shot of an absolutely gorgeous place -- congrats.

I sure like the juxtaposition of the flowers in the foreground against the ominous sky and mountains. This is well seen. I do wish that you hadn't cut off the house.

This is a cropped image. Just to the right of the house was the front end of a parking lot showing about 30 cars. I thought the cars would detract from the image and distract the viewer from the other more natural attractive elements, Hurricane Ridge a place of amazing beauty hopefull I did it some justice.

I thought Switzerland as well at first glimpse Larry. But then I realized it was Hurricanre Ridge, only two hours from my house. Great conditions you caught up there!
