Another shot from the same day spent at Soos Creek Botanical Garden where I was able to snip a few blooms and place atop my black cloth. Same setup as prior submission. Thanks for all the comments.

Beautiful, Ken. Reminds me a lot of the terrific scans that Pat used to post. Nice to see this done conventionally. I'd certainly like to try this some day.

Love this The colors and swirls keep my eye wonderfully entertained. And,I Iove single flowers on black BGs. Very nice, indeed! I, also, should mention, that the framing is perfect for this photo. Just enough black.

I love the processing on the flower. Excellent job there. But you've got way too much border for me. While your two pinstripes help break up all the blackness, it's still too much for me. But again, the flower is awesome.

Stunning, Ken! The wonderful details, design, and colors of this flower really pop against that black background. Yes, it could be nice cropped closer but there is something about the large amount of black space and your framing that gives this flower a majestic feel. . .kind of like a display of a special piece of jewelry on a black velvet pillow. Very well done!
