Backyard Rose

It's been quite a while since I posted in this gallery. I have been busy processing my many photos from our trip to the Canadian Rockies and have neglected other picture taking since we got home. But one day, I just couldn't resist the lovely roses that were still blooming nicely on a rosebush in our backyard.

Canon 60D. 180mm macro lens. F/7.1 for 1/40 sec. ISO 200. Tripod mounted, natural overcast lighting.

Beautiful flower and beautifully photographed. I really like the detail and the dof. No more roses here until next spring.
