Dreamy Yellow

I used only some glamour glow to intensify these pretty snapdragons.
Hope you like them. I was attracted to them for both their color and for the "reverse" S curve from top to bottom.

Somehow, lately I've been in a "framing" mood. Hope you think that the frame complements the photo.

The glow seems to radiate from within... I am a big fan of soft shadows and directing light onto specific portions or enhancing by photoshop. Nice soft darker portions below each bloom. This has much to enjoy ... uhmmm... I am not as keen on the frame.

Lovely, high contrast lighting right down to the glimpses of leaves on the R, Lucy. The soft texturing of the flowers makes this especially lovely for me; I also do like the framing very much. Beautifully composed and presented !!!

I like the dreamy yellow glow and overall artistic presentation, Lucy. I might prefer a thinner, less dominant right yellow border.

Scott, I agree. I wanted a much thinner border, but for some reason , PSE kept snapping to this size. I , finally, gave up and kept it this size.

I like the overall effect, but think your border stripe is too big. I'd opt for a thinner pinstripe.

I like the soft texture and glow of these flowers, Lucy. I also like the nice curving comp down through the image with some leaves visible to add a bit of contrast. I get in framing moods too! A way I have discovered in PSE to make the size frame you want is: open the editor with an image, click on "image" in the top bar--then "resize"--then "canvas size". You can put any numbers you wish in the boxes to make the frame. Pick the color with the color picker or use color presets given.

Beautiful presentation and image Lucy. I'd prefer a smaller yellow border as well. The comp is excellent and your glow works very well for me here. You've created a lovely mood.
