Pyramid Lake reflections

The weather was perfect and the water very still on the morning we visited Pyramid Lake in the Canadian Rockies. Made for great reflection pictures!

Canon 60D. 33mm at F/18 for 1/25 sec. ISO 320. Handheld.

Pretty scene Carolyn, very nice color, light, reflections, and the comp works beautifully. Well done.

Excellent comp, Carolyn. Beautiful scenery and very nice FG for an anchor.

I have to disagree with Bill--while the fg doesn't 'hurt' the shot per se, i think it's unecessary; if i crop the bottom 1/3 the shot has more graphical appeal to me--symmetry--whereas the bottom section is relatively uninteresting.

Carolyn, A very beautiful scene. I enjoy the quiet mood and the wonderful reflections. Maybe a bit soft overall but that might just be sharpening. I see you did hand hold it with a fairly slow shutter, but beautiful no matter...
