After processing I think I like this image better then the shot I just posted of the same scene. This was taken just before the sun broke the horizon, hence the color in the sky on the western horizon. I appreciate very much all the comments and critiques. They are very helpful.

Canon 7d
Sigma 10-20
Manual
Shutter 2
Aperture f19
ISO 100
13mm
Tripod
Post processing in PSE11

I like the tones in the sky and the wide open feeling of this Richard. Nice detail in the larger version. Well done.

Richard, I like the tones in the sky and the wide open feel as well. Your larger version looks very good and it is fun exploring the scene.

yeah, this is better--pops more and the 'brownish' spot is minimized.

Interesting colors from sky. I however am drawn to the detail, colors and textures of the vegetation in the foreground.
