Actually the title is "Happiness is a Mountain Pond" but it doesn't fit in these abbreviated title boxes. The dogs obviously appreciate our hikes on Thompson Pass.

Note: The larger view has much more "presence".

Wonderful! This gives me a great feeling, wish I were there with my dog.

There's two happy pups

You handled the exposure nicely, good detail in the shade without blowing out the sky. Looks like a wonderful place!

Wow, hiking in such a beautiful spot would mean happiness for the hikers too, as well as the dogs! What a great life for a dog to be able to go along with you on such hikes. Idyllic setting with the mountains in the background, a nice meadowed valley to wander through, and a crystal clear mountain pond. Very nice comp and good handling of the different lighting in this shot. The dogs look like they are thoroughly enjoying their romp in the pond.

I like the light and shadows, the diagonal lines, and the color and light and whole look of the pond. It is a wonderful scene.
