While my dog could quite accurately be described as "spoiled", the fact is - human food is rarely, if ever, on the menu for him. The friend I was with on this day decided he needed an ice cream cone of his own - and so it was.

ISO 200, 70mm, 1/800sec at f/5.0, -1/3EV. Processed with Photoshop and NIK filters.

Karen, lighting on the face is perfect here. Very cute and adorable looking dog. The mask gives him/her the look of a bandit, in a good way, like going trick or treating or to a party. :cool:

Everyone should have a chance to indulge on occasion! I'm sure he was very grateful for the opportunity :wink: Believe it or not, we have a dog that would have turned down the ice cream cone. I couldn't believe it the first time I offered him one!

Ahh. . .this is a heart-tugging cute shot, Karen. :smile: Many of the ice-cream shops in our area sell "doggie cones" just for this purpose. Lots of "spoiled" and very loved dogs. . .but how can you resist that cute face? Hope your dog doesn't pest to go to the ice-cream shop from now on. :wink: Well taken shot--nice comp, good aperture and shutter speed choice, plus great lighting.
