Donner Crest

This is from the Donner Lake Crest Trail looking at Donner Peak in Truckee CA. Went on a little hike to try to catch some of the thunderheads mixed with the smoke from the American River Fire. The fire has burned over 20,000 acres so far and is covering the Tahoe Basin in smoke. For fear of getting caught in a torrential downpour with my 5mo old daughter, I left earlier than I wanted, missing the epic sunset that followed. Processed using TK's luminosity masks.
