Spring On the Merced

Thank you for your comments on my recently posted images. Here's one from Yosemite Valley this past May when I was there with Harley and Lon. We had a good time!

I love all the different trees and their bright spring green against the cool water of the Merced River.

Hi Preston, I like this scene very much. You have made the water across the bottom of the frame work really nice here. It looks like it might be just a bit bright on my monitor and especially in the highlights. Other than that I think this image looks very nice. I like your composition here alot!

A very peaceful river side capture here, Preston. Nice mixture of the reds, greens, and blue. Shutterspeed effect on the water looks good too.
I would also buy in on bringing down the highlights a bit. Otherwise, no nits or suggestions from my POV.

Preston, I really enjoy this scene, the tranquil flow together with the delightful pattern of the foliage. The trunks make for a nice anchore to my eye.

I can hear the sounds of the Merced as it flows by in this peaceful scene, Preston. Makes me wish I was there. I too could see the highlights being pulled down just a notch. I am really enjoying this image.
