My final morning in glacier was spent wandering around logan pass and finally making it to hidden lake. The sunrise seemed to have lasted an hour and there was some pretty nice storm light above hidden lake. This was probably my favorite place out of the whole park that I visited. Everywhere I turned there was something to photograph. I ventured a little past the overlook and came across some wonderful wildflower meadows. I loved how these bright pink/purple flowers contrasted with the mountains and sky. It added a nice rich color to the scene. Anyways, comments and critiques appreciated as always.

I've loved your series from here Peter. Being the "flowers in a landscape" fan that I am, I think this is my favorite so far. They make a lovely setup for the drama behind.

Just sweet light and the composition is really great. This is a beautiful image. I hope there is a little of this left because I am going there in a couple of days. I never been there and am really looking forward to it and this just really wet my apatite.

Looks like you made the most of what the park offered. Another nice shot from there. I think you could crop the partial intruding tree on the left, but that's a nit.

Great image. I'm not a fan of the portrait format for landscapes, but that's personnal taste. Well done

Thank you Marc, that is quite a compliment. I wasn't sure if this was the best image I got during my trip, but it definitely made me feel good coming across this scene on the final morning.

The flowers make a terrific foreground and create a great sense of depth and all that's on top of the fine lighting on the peak in the distance.

This is really nice, Peter! I love the light on the mountain. You did a nice job making the breeze stop so that the flowers are nice and sharp. I think the pink flowers are swamp onion, but I'm not completely certain.

Well done!

Very nice Peter, I really like the FG flowers and the light on Bearhat is wonderful. One of my favorites from your recent work.
