This is taken from the same place as my last post, but in the opposite direction and a day later. I was there again this morning again and it was foggy giving another look to the place. I won't me posting for a little while because we are heading to Glacier National Park for a few days. I have never been there before and am looking forward to the trip.
I appreciate all comments and critiques.

Very nice! The opposing cloud patterns are of great interest, as are the gradient skies and the juniper (cedar?) trees on opposing sides of the frame. Nicely composed and executed. Not sure why you felt you needed f20 aperture with a 17mm lens at this perspective. Best of luck and light to you in Glacier!

Richard, this is gorgeous light here. The minimal landscape works well in this comp that really showcases the sky and wonderful cloud formation.
Only thought is to check with the grid, it seems a bit tipped to the right slightly. Might just be the terrain layout, but easy enough to check.

Have a safe trip to Glacier too. A truly wonderful park to visit & photograph.

Beautiful light and color, Richard. I like the sweeping lines of the clouds coming together above the ridge and prairie. All in all a nice image that gives a real sense of the place. Well done! Chet

A grand vista Richard. The clouds arrowing in are a nice touch.

A nice arrangement and comp, Richard. Love the big sky, but equally could see a 40-50% crop off the top to pano working. Beautiful light across the land.

Very nice Richard! I like your comp and the light is wonderful in this scene. Really nice colors and that sky looks and works great. This is a scene that is nice just to sit back and enjoy for awhile.

Richard,

This is a beautiful landscape; wonderful light, color and a terrific sky. I must say that your recognition of light, space and comps have improved tremendously since your first postings here. Excellent landscape work and processing.

Neat how you've got the clouds meeting above the butte. The light is fine and there's a wonderful arching of the clouds across the sky. Good job showing off Nebraska scenery.
