This is very nice, Ramamohan. I like the symmetry of the composition. Great use of DOF as well. Excellent work. :toast:

I really like the composition, with the flowers pointing the corners.
Very nice colours and clean BG.

Excellent comp, as always, and this has wonderful light and color. Very nice shading in the background, too.

Beauty, Ram. I like the comp with the triangular focal points, and you have just the right amount of flower vs bg.

How did you manage to get such a lovely BG at f22? Delightful pair! Your DOF management is perfect as usual!

Eirini - As you know the background distance is important and is also dependent on how far away it is compared to the shooting distance (from the subject). I shot this from about 2 feet away and the background was easily something like 8 to 10 feet away. It was simple greenery from the foliage - Regards/Ram

A lovely take on a lovely flower, Ram ! I think the lighting here brings out the delicacy of the astrantia beautifully - the slightly graded bg is also very appropriate.

Another killer image Ram from you ....your have managed the whites very well. While you are an expert here, I would have increased the contrast a tad bit on the buds so that the purple comes out a little more . Thats personal to me though..
