I am afraid to say I have returned to Matusadona and the sunsets as we are returning on the boat from our evening "game drive".

Wonderful sky color and the reflection is very nice also. I like the pano format for this. Very nice.

A surreal scene. Excellent comp for being in a boat, and the color is grand.

Excellent color and composition. The pano format really adds to the image, and I especially like the ripples in the FG. :toast:

This is a "radical red" sunset. Sure gives a feeling of a barren and hot territory with the FG tree stags. I like the low to the deck perspective here too, Ken. Works very nicely all the way around.

I like the intensity of the color a lot, and the overall scene too.

Fantastic silhouette. The art of silhouettes has all but vanished from these forums with the advent of HDR. Nice to see one again.

Cool Ken

I have some of these from Kariba, with those glorious sunsets and the mopane trees usually with a Darter in the bony branches. The trees are so hard they resist collapse and decay for a very long time.

Love the composition and colors. Really great lines and reflections. I also like the crop. Don't know where Matusadona is, but you've made it look gorgeous.

Yousef.
Thanks for your comment, never tried HDR
Ian,
I am very pleased to discover that a serious landscape photographer has captured some of these magical scenes
Kathy,
Matusadona is a small but very wild reserve on the shores of Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe , it is roughly half way along the lake.
