Among the well established azaleas in our local old vicarage garden there are some nice colour combinations.

Canon 7D, Tamron 55-200mm lens @ 90mm, 1/30 sec @ f11, ISO 500, hh, a little glow on the white petals from Perfect Effects 4.

I am always reminded of the fabulous azaleas at Isabella Plantation, Richmond whenever I see images like this. Like diagonal composition and the juxtaposition of the white and red

Ian - Awesome diagonal flow. The white blooms are nicely set off by the dark red ones.

I find a little bit of softness to the frame - not sure if the 1/30 Sec of shutter speed was enough.
